I have had a few inquiries about the baby status. Pretty much, the baby is nice and comfortable and has no immediate plans to come out. I went to the doctor today and she said I was 4-5 cm dilated and offered to set a date next week to induce. I initially said no... I love the element of surprise. But after reconsidering how much easier it would make things... I called her back and left a message saying next Thursday would be great... so we will see what happens. I would be 39 weeks along- which is the most pregnant I have ever been, so maybe I won't make it that far. I am not completely losing the element of surprise.

Oh..I HATE surprises! I am such a planner I can't stand surprises..I barely make it to Christmas day without telling everybody what I got them as gifts! Keep me posted! Good luck!

39 weeks is good enough. We had ours at 39 weeks and one day. Last friday at 1:30 in the morning. She's a week old now. Well it will still be a surprise as you don't know what you're having. That seems like the biggest surprise of all!

Wow, how exciting! I hope it happens naturally but either way you will have a new member of the family and what a blessing that is. We find out what we are having in about 3 more weeks. I can't wait.
Go for the induction! I just had my third one and there is always some sort of minor suprise while you are getting induced anyway. Can't wait to see what new Baby Nelson is. I'm sure he/she will be beautiful. Good luck!

You seriously are a trooper, waiting for the sex and now being patient about having that baby, seriously you are a champ! I can't wait to see this little one and find out what it is! Please have it on Thurs if you don't before then we are all dyeing to meet it!
