Lyric has been coming up to me and saying "kisses mommy?" I just recently discovered the translation: "I did something I know I wasn't supposed to, but I still love you." After this kiss, I ask her to show me what she did, and she leads me by hand to the scene of the crime (tipped over cup of water, marker on the wall, and other serious offences).

I think they learn as a baby how to read and manipulate us. Lucky for them, god made them cute, and it usually works!!!
