Last Friday, we brought home this fuzzy four legged puppy...
After much debate, we named him Sobe. The kids were really rooting for Mr. Fuzzy Pants, but Ryan wouldn't give in. He is a goldendoodle (Golden retriever/poodle mix) and is a great little puppy. Doesn't shed, bark, or dig... and loves, loves, loves his new family. He is a happy little people pleasing dog. So far, so good... (ask us in a few weeks).

He is so cute! You will LOVE that he doesn't shed for sure!!! He looks like the perfect family dog, I love the video of him getting Lyric's dress! So cute!
You're just asking for trouble! He is pretty cute though... I think calling him Mr Fuzzy Pants would have helped lighten the mood when he does something naughty :)

The shedding is definitely a plus but put away all your beautiful shoes and belts now. Trust me they only stay that cute until they figure out how to get into things :)

You are certainly a braver woman than I! My kids have been BEGGING me for a pet of some sorts for months and I just can't budge...I told them to think of the new baby as their "pet" :)

You didn't! I am a tad bit jealous, I know that sounds crazy. But really I am the mom of little boys and I think little boys need a dog. After moving into this house which was infested with the previous owner's dog hair I don't know if Jared will EVER give into the idea of getting a dog. He does have a valid point... there was dog hair in the fridge -- nasty!
Watching Lyric with Sobe made me laugh out loud! He's so soooooo cute! I am watching your new addition closely--Ben is BEGGING for a dog. congrats on the new addition.
That is a cute dog, I did not know that a golden doodle would actually be as cute as that! Super cute dog and I LOVE the idea of a non sheading dog, PERFECT!!! I can't stand that my dog that I did not think would shead, sheads!
You are going to love having a dog, the puppy phase is a little rough but when they pass through it it's wonderful!

I'm so glad you finally posted this. You did mention over a week ago you were going to so the kids have tried patiently waiting to see the new puppy! I wish I could say we'd get to see this little guy as a puppy but unless you bring him on the plane with you I don't know that we'll get the chance. Sobe is so fun. We're happy for your kids. We'll want to hear all the fun stuff he gets into!
